Is there anything more exciting than expecting a child? I had so much fun at Rotary Park with Laura, Kevin and Carson for their maternity session.
I have known Laura and Kevin for about 5 years now. I watched them go from just dating, to married, to parents and it’s been such an incredible journey to watch. I finally got to meet Carson for their session and this kid is all boy! He would not stay still and just wanted to explore the entire time. Luckily, it was warm enough that day for him to get into the creek and play a little bit. Check out more photos from their session below.
Oh gosh I love these so much! How beautiful is Laura!? She definitely does pregnancy well!
I love this photo. We got him still for just a couple of moments on this blanket and I got some really cute ones of just Carson as an only child before baby number 2 gets here.
Oh my gosh I love these so much!! There is nothing quite like the love a parent has for their child. I love getting to photograph each parent with their child so they can connect and I can photograph their unique bond. The one below with just Kevin and Carson is one of my favorites from the entire session!
Are you really a parent if you haven’t held your child upside down by the ankle?
You can’t have a session by a creek and not let the kid get in! I suggested having Carson get in the creek if the weather was nice weeks beforer her session and she loved the idea. How adorable are his little overalls!? He didn’t move very far or splash like we thought he would but he was so curious about the water and loved being in the creek. Added plus…..it kept him relatively still long enough for me to get some extra cute photos of just him!
I just can’t with this one! I knew as soon as I took it that I was turning it black and white. It’s just so classic! I can’t wait for baby Steinmetz #2 to be here in just about 3 weeks! They’re having another boy and are so excited for Carson to have a brother!
