In this blog, I want to walk you through the top 5 things I suggest doing with your wedding photos once you are married! We don’t want those photos going to your camera roll graveyard to die!
Ok this one is probably super obvious, but as soon as you get your sneak peeks from your photographer why not update your profile photo? Pick your favorite one and show it off to the social media world. In this day and age, it’s kind of a rite of passage to update that last name and photo!
Next, select a photo (or a few) that you love from your gallery and get those thank you notes made up! Your family and friends will love seeing a professional photo from your wedding day. Whether it’s printed and has a note written on it or it’s a virtual thank you note. It’s an easy way to say thank you to everyone for attending and also let them see a photo.
Whether you want to frame a few photos for your office or add them to your gallery wall in your home, I recommend printing out a few photos right away to display. So often we sit and wait on our photos or are indecisive about which ones to print. Pick out a few from your wedding gallery that you are drawn to and get them printed ASAP! They can be 5×7 or if you’re ready to commit you can order a huge print or canvas for your wall. I do offer professional printing for all types of prints or canvases as well!
I offer professional wedding albums to all of my wedding clients! The quality is amazing and it’s truly a family heirloom that you are investing in. I take care of the initial design so you only have to make a few changes before your family heirloom is on its way to you. You are able to customize the wedding albums with different textures of covers, embossing, and paper the photos are printed on. It’s a beautiful piece of your wedding day that you will look back on for years and years!
Whether your photographer sent you your photos in an online gallery or you were given a usb of them, back the photos up in multiple places! Download the photos to your computer AND harddrive so that you won’t lose them one day. It’s always better to be safe than sorry with your wedding day photos!
There you have it! Those are my favorite ways to use your wedding photos after you’ve officially said “I do”!
