Here we go….I can’t believe I’m actually writing this post.
I’ll begin now by saying that I don’t promise to not start crying again while I write this. Luckily for you, and for me, I’m behind a computer screen so you can’t see me bawling my eyes out.
The Biggest Inspiration to My Life and My Business
Have you ever met someone, or found someone online that inspired you so much that you frequently think, WWKJD? No? Just me? Alright! Fine! I found Katelyn James (KJ) several years ago while I was scrolling some form of social media. I honestly don’t remember which one. Since that time, KJ has done quite a bit of damage to my wallet but she’s completely changed my life for the better and I can’t thank her enough for it.
AirBnB Ladies!
If you know me, then you know that I don’t do spontaneous things. You also know that I’m super awkward at times and not likely to put myself into a situation where I’ll probably be awkward. But that’s exactly what I did. I agreed to stay in a huge Airbnb house with 15 other women. Before I arrived, these women were all complete strangers to me. We had spoken briefly online but other than that, I had no clue who they were. Let me tell you…this was the BEST decision I made the entire trip. I got to know these ladies so well. Definitely some more than others. A few of us are actually going to try and plan a yearly trip to stay with one another and hang out for a weekend. I cannot even begin to thank KJ enough for bringing me these ladies. They have been such an incredible inspiration to me and my business.
The Conference
YOU GUYS!! It’s been about 4 months since this conference…I know I know….I’m behind!! But I’m still SHOOK!! This conference was a full day and a full day seemed to fly by in the blink of an eye. I’m serious! One minute the day had just started and the next minute it was over. Putting all of the pieces together in an in-person event was such an incredible way to end a year-long journey. The course may be over now but I know I’ve made life-long friendships and I’ll be going back over the courses whenever I need a refresher.
I met Kaitlyn Blake!! I was seriously mesmerized. She’s such an inspiration to me in my business and I love following her personal and business journey on social media. Fun fact….Kaitlyn was pregnant in this photo but no one knew she was expecting yet! She’s expecting a little boy soon and I’m so excited for her and her family!

I still feel like I need to pinch myself. I’m honestly surprised I didn’t cry. I own literally every single thing she puts out. I might sound a little crazy but KJ is the most down to earth, genuine, sweetest people I have ever met in my entire life. Her online persona is exactly who she is in person and I was so incredibly honored to have met her.
