Hey, I’m Liz!
The most important part of what I
do is telling your love story on your
special day. I don’t just show up to
your ceremony. I want to know the
you beyond the camera so the
photos I deliver are keepsakes that’ll
be with you for decades. Your love
story is the best inspiration for
photos that last for decades.

Do you ever meet people and just instantly “click”? Well that’s what happened Sunday night at the Clarksville Photographer’s Meetup. I arrived a little late and these ladies were already talking and laughing. I was welcomed right into the conversation and it felt like I had known them for years. I’d only met two of them in person before that night but I had so much fun photographing them and getting to know them.
The meetup was supposed to end at 7pm but I ended up staying until 10pm!! How crazy is that!? We might not be able to get together a lot but I love when we can get a group of photographers together and just talk and photograph each other. I love the photos I got of each beautiful lady as well as some behind the scenes and Ashley’s adorable baby girl!
I know wedding season might keep me from going to a few more of these but I hope we get to do them more often. Check out the photos of Alishia, Ashley, Shannon and Amanda below!
Amanda has such an infectious personality. She laughed and joked throughout her entire time getting her headshot done and I love that about her. Want to see some of Amanda’s work? Check out her website: Oh Snap Images by Amanda
I’ve met Alishia before at a previous meetup and actually borrowed a maternity dress from her for a session. She’s so sweet and fun and her maternity and family portrait work is incredible! Want to see some of Alishia’s work? Check out her website: The Potter’s Hand Photography
How freaking adorable is Shannon!? I can only hope I look half as stunning as she does while pregnant. Sunday night was the first time I met Shannon and I love her personality. She was all smiles when we did her photos and was incredible at giving posing direction when she was behind the lens. I’ve just started to get more familiar with her work but if you’d like to see more of Shannon’s work, you can check out her website: Shannon Roselius Photography.
Ashley and I have met before as well. We actually met a couple of years ago at a convention called Imaging USA. I love following along with her and her kids on facebook and getting to see the amazing work she is doing for her clients. Her daughter Clara got a little mini photo session which you can see at the end. Her son Myles spent the time pretending to be a street sweeper which was the cutest thing ever! Want to see more of Ashley’s work? Check out her website: Freeze the Moment 4ever Photography.
Want to see photos from another meetup? This one was planned as more of a model meetup. The Nashville Photographers group had a few models come out and we photographed them. A little different than a headshot swap but the photos are still amazing!! Check it out here: LooksLikeFilm Photographers Meetup.
