I am so excited to share photos from the Whitehall Fair this past weekend. This is the first year I have done the Whitehall Fair and it was incredible! Though it rained the night before and threatened rain all day, we had beautiful weather for the day. It only started raining once the fair ended and we were packing up.
I have been dying to explore Whitehall House and Gardens for some time now. The home is gorgeous and the grounds are perfect for your wedding day festivities and photos. The garden was just starting to bloom this past weekend and I can only imagine how stunning it would be in full bloom.
James and I spent the day talking to brides about their big day, their proposals and their wedding plans. I love getting to chat with each bride about their unique proposal story and their vision for their big day. I can’t wait to talk to them more and photograph some of their weddings in 2020 and 2021. Take a look at the photos below to see a little glimpse at the fair.
Shout out to James for being the best second photographer and assistant ever! James second shoots most of my weddings with me and hangs out with the guys. He’s great with keeping the guys on task and making sure your groom looks his absolute best. He’s also always weirdly right where I need him when I need him there which helps your day run smoothly. He helped me out at the fair this past weekend and by the end of it, he was a total pro. You’d never even know that this was his first show. Also huge thanks to him for taking photos of me with my booth and talking to soonly weds!
It started raining pretty hard as we packed up so I didn’t have time to get as many venue photos as I wanted but this is Whitehall. It is a gorgeous historic home and gardens. It is the perfect setting for your big day with stunning architecture, history and beautiful grounds for all your photos. The tent in the back is perfect for your reception with its brick floor. It can be open air or closed off if it’s cold. The gardens are great for your outdoor ceremony. I can’t wait until I get a chance to go back, take a proper tour and take more photos for a full blog on this gorgeous venue in Louisville, KY.
