2017 was the year of weddings but that doesn’t mean I don’t love working with my other legacies. This year I got to photograph TWO seniors, an anniversary session and a beautiful quinceanera. I love being a part of my client’s special moments no matter when they happen. Graduating high school or college is such a huge accomplishment and being able to photograph such an important moment means so much to me. I had so much fun photographing AJ for his senior photos. He has the most amazing style that paired perfectly with his Mustang. How cool is that!? AJ graduates this coming May!

I also got to continue the legacy of photographing one of my brides. I photographed Jo and Tiffany’s wedding a few years ago and now I have photographed not only Jo’s senior photos but also Tiffany’s! I love when legacies come back to me to photograph their important moments. Tiffany graduated this past December!

The next set of photos aren’t exactly portraits but they don’t really fit into weddings either. Hannah and her mom Mindy met me at last year’s Clarksville Brides Wedding Showcase and Hannah and I instantly hit it off! She is so sweet and I was honored to photograph such an important occasion for her. The occasion of a girl’s 15th birthday party is so important and so I knew that her quinceanera was going to be extra special. I loved getting to see her put on makeup for the first time and put on her first pair of heels as a young lady. There was not a dry eye in the entire room as she became a beautiful young lady. I can’t wait to see where life takes her as she continues high school and cheerleading.

The last set of photos in this series hold a special place in my heart. Breanna and I have been friends for as long as I can remember. Throughout college we lost touch, as many people do, life gets in the way and you don’t talk to people as much as you’d like. I am so excited that not only did I get to photograph Breanna and her boyfriend Adam as they celebrated their first anniversary together but I also got to reconnect with an amazing friend. I loved getting to see how happy Adam has made Breanna and how amazing they are together. Photographing important moments in people’s lives they want to remember makes me happy and anniversaries are definitely something to remember.

I can’t wait to see where 2018 takes my photographic career and what other important legacies I get to capture with my passion.

Your future family heirlooms await.
