Fall weddings are seriously the best thing ever!! I arrived at the Joines wedding on a dreary morning. Rain threatened to fall all throughout the day but we got lucky and it didn’t rain at all. The cloudy atmosphere provided great light for gorgeous portraits of the couple and their wedding party.
I cannot express how excited I am to be sharing Megan and Chad’s big day. Megan found my business on a musician page on Facebook and little did I know but I had just photographed a member of their congregation who got engaged. She truly deserves all the love and happiness that Chad will give her over their life together.
On their wedding day, I found Megan getting ready in the bridal suite with her ladies and soon Chad arrived to the groom’s room to get ready as well. The light in the chapel where they said I do was absolutely gorgeous and watching them promise to love each other for the rest of their lives had the whole room in awe. I truly will never grow tired of seeing two people pledge their lives to one another. One of my favorite parts of Megan and Chad’s day was their First Touch. They chose to stick to tradition and not see each other before the ceremony. Instead, they held hands and talked to one another outside the chapel where they were to be wed. Chad was definitely teary eyed as he held his bride’s hand and told her how excited he was to marry her. The entire day was filled with not only the love of these two people but also the love of their families and the love of our Heavenly Father. Their faith in the Lord and his power to help them through any trial blanketed their entire day. I am so glad I got to photograph the start of their forever and can’t wait to see their love continue to grow.
