Hi guys,
As you might know from a previous blog post I wrote about reasons to book an engagement session, I love photographing couples engagement photos! If you’re reading this blog post, it means you’ve probably booked your engagement session. Now you may be wondering where you should have the photos taken. Luckily, I have plenty of suggestions! Today we’ll be talking about my top 3 engagement photo locations near Nashville, TN that I think would work for any couple. You can also make these locations work outside of Nashville so they’re versatile. Let’s dive in!
Or really any winery is a great idea! Wineries are naturally beautiful so we won’t have to work hard to find gorgeous backdrops for your photos. If you like some more “lifestyle” engagement sessions, we can take photos of you drinking wine and snacking on charcuterie together. If breweries are more of your style, sub that in for the winery. The same rules still apply. Wineries or breweries are a fun backdrop with plenty of different locations for photos. Beachaven is a personal favorite of mine but we can head to any winery or brewery that you guys love! The bonus is that after your photos you can stay and have a date night together since you’re already in a date spot! This would definitely be a great Nashville engagement session idea.
If a city or industrial feel is what you’re looking for, let’s head downtown. In downtown Nashville, you’re going to have city buildings, brick walls, sidewalks, benches and bridges to work with for your photos. We can get a great variety of photographs in the downtown of a city. Maybe your favorite ice cream or coffee shop is there and we can add a stop in there for your photos! Each couple typically has a vibe they’d like to have in their engagement photos. If you love the city, this could be the perfect option for you.
This option is a great 2-in-1. Not only will you get photos at a gorgeous venue that you already love, but it’s a great way to feel and see what your wedding day with me will truly be like! As your photographer I’ll have a chance to walk through the venue with you and take your photos in locations that we’ll use again on your wedding day. When you get your engagement gallery you’ll be able to get a glimpse at what your wedding gallery will look like! This can also be fun if we pick a different season to do engagement sessions than what season your wedding will be in. You could have fall engagement photos at your venue with a summer wedding so that there will be even more diversity in your photos!
These are just a few of my favorite spots for Nashville engagement photos! If you guys need more suggestions, definitely ask me and we can work to find the perfect spot. These should give you some good ideas though! Once you have your location nailed down, head to my blog post on planning your engagement session outfit so that you’ll feel and look great!
