Now for the fun stuff…an update on my internship with Matt!! I have had an absolute blast working with him and have gotten some great portfolio images! I have worked eight weddings with him being the second shooter or the assistant depending on the wedding. My favorite wedding would definitely have to be the one we did in Destin last weekend though!! It was so amazing to be able to photograph a beach wedding and I can honestly say those are the best images I have in my entire portfolio. They are truly amazing!! I have learned so much about wedding photography and lighting to make the sky really pop. Soon I will be learning how Matt edits and decides which photos to deliver and hopefully we will be doing a styled shoot in July as well. It’s been kind of crazy this last month and I am working on editing the first few weddings we have done so that I can get them up on the blog. Those will be coming soon so keep checking back for them as well as a blog post about baby Parker. If anyone has any fine art photography projects ideas they think I would like feel free to throw them my way in the comments. I could really use the inspiration!!
