Welcome to the third installment of my wedding professional series! I am talking with wedding vendors who will make your entire engagement and wedding experience 5 stars! So far I have featured Photowalk Nashville and chatted with Relive Studio. Today I am talking with Mike with We Bring the Party Events, who offer professional DJ and photo booth services.
Liz: Hi Mike! To kick things off, let’s talk about why a couple should hire a professional DJ for their wedding day?
Mike: Like other areas of a wedding day you should hire a professional DJ to remove the burden of planning and executing the entire process that is a ceremony and reception. It is our sole job to ensure everything goes smoothly so you can enjoy your day. From the moment your guests arrive to when you depart. Otherwise, you are going to have to rent or borrow gear, have someone set it up and run it, and hope it all works.
Liz: That’s definitely a bonus of hiring any wedding vendor; to take that stress away. When couples start researching DJs, what should they keep an eye out for?
Mike: We are referred by most of the venues we work in. They want their couples to hire us because they know we are an addition to the day and not a liability. Ask the professionals you’ve already hired who they recommend, who they like to work with, and go from there.
It wouldn’t hurt you to also look up their reviews online. A professional should be easily found with a simple search and should have reviews on Google, Wedding Wire, The Knot, and Facebook.
