Last week, I traveled out to Ashland City, TN to talk with the owner of Cumberland River Farm. Jennifer was kind enough to have me out and tell me about the venue while letting me photograph the space. This venue is conveniently located 30 minutes from both Clarkville and Nashville. Cumberland River Farm sits on the Cumberland River and offers incredible views of the river, river bluffs and the fields on the opposite side. The barn itself is 3800 square feet and can comfortably seat 180 guests. It is heated and cooled for all season weddings. The barn also includes two covered overhangs that overlook the river and fields. These are perfect for your cocktail hour or for your guests to enjoy during your reception.
Cumberland River Farm offers couples three ceremony sites. The first is this gorgeous gazebo that overlooks the river and the cliffs. The second is inside the barn. The third ceremony location is actually located creek-side. We weren’t able to visit this location but I’m sure it’s just as stunning as the other two locations.
There are so many gorgeous locations for photos. I’m already getting ideas! The field out front is perfectly placed for sunset photos. The riverside outdoor location is absolute goals. And of course, you can’t forget about that riverside gazebo! I seriously had heart eyes the entire time walking around this venue.
Not only can you and your ladies get ready here, but you can also stay the night. There is a bedroom and a kitchen so you can wake up on your wedding day ready for breakfast and get ready for your big day.
This groom’s room is simple and casual which is perfect for the guys to get ready and hang out in.
You can decorate the entire property exactly how you want and that includes this outdoor location. You can bring in your own arch or decorate the one that is available. Your guests won’t know what to do with themselves with this view!
Jennifer owns the venue with her husband Ray. They work full time to make sure your wedding dreams come true. Here’s a full view of the venue as well as a photo of the venue owner. Seriously, Jennifer is the sweetest and I hope I get to photograph a wedding here soon!
This gate opens into that field I was talking about earlier. Look at that gorgeous golden hour light though!! Bridal portraits would look incredible here!
Be sure to reach out to Jennifer and check out Events at Cumberland River Farm for your big day or event. You won’t regret it!
