It’s hard to believe that it’s been a year since I watched Trey tear up as Hailey walked down the aisle to begin their forever. To say their gorgeous late May wedding is one of my favorites from last year would be an understatement. From the stunning florals, Hailey’s dress, to the outpouring of emotions I witnessed from all in attendance, it was nothing short of magical. I asked Trey and Ha to answer a few questions regarding their first year as a married couple and to share some advice for newlywed couples. Here’s what they had to say.
Quick little side note…Trey and Hailey now live in Italy where they celebrated their first year of married life together. How incredible is that!

What has been the best thing about being married to the love of your life?
- Probably just the daily laughs. We always have so much fun with each other even when we aren’t doing anything.
- What has been the biggest struggle during your first year of marriage?
- Just whenever Trey is gone for work. When he goes to the field for training for weeks at a time we just miss being around each other everyday.
- What advice would you give to newlyweds?
- Live each day in service of each other. If you’re both constantly putting the needs of your spouse ahead of your own then you won’t have many issues.
- What has been the greatest blessing during your first year of marriage?
- Getting to travel together. Moving to Italy has been so amazing and we’ve gotten to experience so many great adventures in Europe.
- Anything else you’d like me to include in your anniversary blog?
- The last year has been the best year of our lives and having Liz’s photos to look back on and remember our special day has truly been a blessing.
