This wedding has to be my favorite of the year so far! Trey contacted me about 2 weeks before their intimate Castilian Springs wedding and I couldn’t have been happier to photograph such a big day for them. I arrived at Taylor-Huff Farm, a gorgeous home and farm belonging to Trey’s extended family. Hailey was in a side bedroom with her ladies and Trey was in the pool house with his guys. Everyone was very calm but excited for the day ahead.
I began photographing the festivities and watched how happy and excited Hailey was to marry Trey. The mood in each of the rooms was always excitement and that’s what I love about wedding days.
Trey and Hailey chose not to do a traditional first look but instead chose to stand back to back on the front porch and talk for a few minutes before the ceremony. It was the sweetest first look I have ever photographed. The smiles on their faces and the constant giggles from Hailey only added to the excitement of the big day. And can we talk about that house!!?? It was stunning!!
Their ceremony was a short and personal ceremony where they dedicated their lives to each other and joined their families as one. Trey burst in to tears the second Hailey walked into that little barn (which is my favorite part). You could tell how much he loved her in that moment and how excited he was to marry her. A short ceremony, exchanging of rings and they were suddenly Lieutenant and Mrs. Trey Scott!!
The next photos gave it all away. The entire room seemed to erupt in applause and the look on Hailey and Trey’s faces was one of pure excitement and happiness. It’s so difficult to put into words all the excitement and love from this amazing day so I’ll just let the photos continue to speak for me. Congratulation Hailey and Trey and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your big day. It was truly spectacular!
