It’s officially March and with that comes wedding season! There is nothing I love more than the beginning of wedding season because it means I get to capture beautiful and timeless memories for all of my legacies. Bridal sessions are a big tradition here in the South and today I thought I’d share some tips on what to expect when you book a bridal session. These sessions are great for a trial run of your hair and makeup as well as to see the fit of your gown. Bridal sessions are typically booked 6-8 weeks before your big day.
So what should you expect when you arrive at your bridal session?
Well first expect to be pampered. It is your day and your session after all! This session is a time to get some great photos of you in your gown without the stress of the wedding day to give you nervous jitters.
Expect to have fun! We’ll dance and twirl in your gown to showcase every gorgeous detail.
Expect to laugh…A LOT! We’ll show off your gorgeous smile and laugh for perfectly natural photos of you and your joy. For this be sure to bring along a friend who you know can make you laugh.
Expect to walk a lot so bring comfy shoes. But also bring your wedding shoes so we can show them off during your session.
Expect your session to last about 1 1/2 hours.
We’re going to have so much fun during your session so be prepared to laugh a lot. What’s better than playing dress up in your wedding gown!?
