My New Job-Working for Watkins College of Art, Design & Film

It’s officially official!! I was offered the Office Manager position in Admissions at Watkins College of Art, Design and Film and I ACCEPTED!! I am so excited to have my first official full time job after college. It definitely takes the pressure of immediately growing my business off my shoulders. I can now work and advertise as I grow my business. I hope that I will one day be able to have a full time photography business but for now I am so glad that I get to continue working in admissions in a new capacity.

EEEEEKKK!! I’m so excited to have my first official after college adult job! I have loved working in admissions as a work study student and I can’t wait to learn everything I will need to know in order to be the office manager! I am really nervous because it is so much more work than I am used to and I don’t know how to do most of it but I am really excited to learn it all and see what I can do. I am so grateful that I get to work for my alma mater and help aspiring artists find a college that is right for them! 

I am also very excited for a little break. Today is my last day as a work study student in the admissions office. It is so exciting that the next time I step into this office I will be a full time member of the staff!! I have a two week vacation before I start in my official position and I can’t wait to relax. This will be the first true vacation I have had in a very long time. I am sad that I don’t get to go anywhere but a nice stay cation by the pool will be relaxing and rejuvenating especially after the incredibly stressful year I have had. Aside from the new job I am also moving out of the dorms and getting an apartment! I can’t wait to show you guys what it looks like. Check back next week for graduation photos!!
