Hey, I’m Liz!
The most important part of what I do is telling your love story on your special day. I don’t just show up to your ceremony. I want to know the you beyond the camera so the photos I deliver are keepsakes that’ll be with you for decades. Your love story is the best inspiration for photos that last for decades.
Tips and Tricks
Well midterms were last week and I can honestly say that I am glad they are over! I cannot believe that I just took my last week of midterms EVER! It’s crazy to think that in just 8 short months I will be graduating college! I’ve been working really hard on my senior thesis these past couple of months and am really excited with some of the work I have been doing. I officially decided on an idea with the help of my classmates. I will be photographing the culture behind Civil War reenacting. It will be in a documentary style. There are a couple smaller projects within the larger overlaying idea. I will be photographing the battles, doing civilian and dressed portraits of the men and women, as well as photographs of quilt squares that are printed on the sides of buildings around Tennessee. So far I have only had the chance to photograph the battles and some portraits of the men and women in my company. I will be taking a couple weekends in the next couple of weeks to spend in Dover, TN and other areas getting photos of the quilt squares. I am very excited with what I have so far and can’t wait to see what comes in the next few months especially come time for finals. Not all of these photos will be included in the final thesis show but these are some that I selected for critique. I hope you enjoy the photos, please leave a comment and let me know what you think!
